Rehearsal Dinner - Victors Mexican - A+ : Everything was wonderful. The food was great, they had the drinks flowing. Anything we needed, they were there! It was a great dinner. Highly recommended!

Paper Dolls Photography (Boudoir pics) - A+ : Donna came through at the last minute. Great friend, wonderful person... just all together amazing! She produced some outstanding pictures.  Brian loves the album and stares at the pictures on a regular basis. I thought the gift would be a little strange but Donna did such amazing work...he absolutely loved it!

Weddings By Debbie - Mixed reviews (A/C-/A) : When I first went in to try on gowns, the consultant was so friendly and actually stayed late to help me decide. I didn't have family with me, so they filled in. However, when I went to pick up my gown they were not so nice. The gown was really tight and the woman who measured me tried to tell me I gained weight. I know I didn't but she insisted it was my fault. They weren't very nice to my sister when she came to look at the dress. I just was not pleased and decided against having my alterations done there. Now, when I went back again to have my dress steamed I received first class service. Again, they were really friendly and did a wonderful job on the dress. So, mixed reviews....

Katy Custom Bridal and Tux (Alteration) A- : The only reason I am giving them a minus is because the top of the dress really didn't fit like I had hoped. I don't know if all the detail made it impossible to bring the sides in more... but I couldn't really dance in the dress. If I raised my arms, I was coming out. However, I gave them an A for thinking about adding hooks last minute.. These hooks saved my life because while I was dancing the manufacture hook busted and the dress would have came completely unzipped if it weren't for the extra hooks. Oh, and the bustle looked amazing!!!

Church - Holy Covenant United - A+ : This church is AMAZING! The coordinator worked her magic and really helped us through. She opened up the church early so I could get my makeup done. She set up all the decor. The minister, Jay Jackson, is more than I could have ever imagined. He is so friendly, the ceremony was beautiful and he did everything in his power to make Brian and I feel special. He was truly a blessing and I couldn't imagine anyone else officiating our special day. We plan to go back to this church!

Macarena Makeup - A+ : I received SO many compliments on my makeup. She arrived to the church before anyone else. She helped me remain calm because none of my friends were there. She talked to me and we told stories.... she is such a sweet person! I got a little picky towards the end, and she did EVERYTHING including helping me cover up some of my most hated freckles on my arms.

Avalon Music - A+ : WOW... I can't think of another word to describe this string trio. The music was breath taking and they made things so easy! They worked with the ceremony because we did some things a little backwards. They were right on step and played perfectly!

Julie's Cakes - A+ : Another AMAZING vendor! When I walked into the reception hall and saw our cake, I wanted to cry. The cake had that real WOW factor. Some of our guests said that they had never seen such an amazingly detailed cake. Not only did it look good, but it tasted SO good that we not only fed a piece of cake to each other.... we sat there and fed an entire slice of cake to each other! After the reception was over we had guests asking if they could take more of it home. It was YUMMY! The grooms cake also looked great but I didn't get to taste it. I am sure it was also yummy!

Sarah's Florist - B- : This is the only vendor I wasn't really happy with. The flowers looked okay but they made several errors.  My bouquet had a green sash wrapped around it although I requested the red. DH's bout didn't have the swirl and wasn't much different from the others although we paid more for it. The flowers on our sweetheart table weren't anything like what we talked about (other than the color).  The centerpieces had carnations although we specifically asked for these to be left out.  We paid for other flowers that were not included.  I think we paid WAY too much for the flowers we got. Although, I did love my bouquet! We took the centerpieces to a nursing home afterwards and they loved them! The centerpieces were really vibrant and lush. I liked the extra grass wrap at the bottom of each bowl.

Ashley K Photography - A ++++ : Ashley... purely amazing! Can't say enough about her. She was there with us every step of the way. She made us feel so comfortable and when we got a little nervous, she would make us laugh.  When we arrived at the reception she wanted to take us outside for some pictures on the golf course. Ashley was so patient and caring. She got us in and out so fast! We zoomed through those pictures!  She even helped bustle my dress!  After the wedding, we received our pro pictures and disc within a few weeks.  As you can see, the pictures are a work of art!

Willow Fork CC - A+ : Kathy (the coordinator) was my life saver. She did so much for us because we didn't have an outside coordinator. She set up everything and went well beyond her position. Kathy was so friendly and didn't mind all my emails.  Kathy always sent a response quickly.  She walked us through things the day of and made sure we had a plate of food waiting. The food was SOOOO good! I think every single one of our guests mentioned the food. They wanted to take some of that home too.  Willow Fork had the drinks flowing, the food flowing... and the staff was so nice to everyone. Again, couldn't imagine it any other way.

DJs Unlimited - A+ : I have read some horror stories about these people, so I will admit that we were scared!! However, Jon was so friendly and worked with us the entire night. We changed our timeline around during the reception and he really went with the flow. He played all of the songs on our requested list and the other songs were perfect!!! He really watched our guests and picked up on what people liked.

Blue Star Video - A ++++++ (again, have something to stress) : When I think about Tom, I seriously want to cry. Everything he did for us was WAY beyond any other vendor. He came through for us last minute and offered so much. He took so much time out of his day (actually, several days) to walk through what we wanted in order to really personalize our video. Not only is Tom our vendor but he has become a great friend. During the wedding we laughed together... and even cried together! Tom is a truly good person and isn't in the business for the money. He really cares about his clients and puts so much heart into his work. I could go on all day about this one but his video speaks for itself. His prices may be a little higher than most but now I can understand why! I can't put this vendor into words.... just awesome!

Hair - Shannon (friend and BM) - A+ : Shannon did such an amazing job. She does hair in the Katy area so if any Katy brides are looking, let me know.  Shannon always makes sure I am comfortable and never lets me leave the house with bad hair.  I received many compliments on the wedding day.

Jareds - A : We both loved our rings. They are a bit higher in price but sell good quality products. Some of the sales people are a little pushy... but I chalk that up to the profession.

Als Formal - A+ : This is another place I have heard horror stories about but we had no problems. They sent the wrong size shoes for my son but that was fixed immediately. The people at the Katy store were so friendly! They made things really easy for us.
